After many ramp starts in my DCS A-10C, I've committed the steps to a guide. This modified start-up procedure gets me off the ground with all necessary controls set to clear the caution indicators and get the jet into the air. Some of you may question the order of these steps, or wonder why some things are left out. I'm one of those sim pilots that likes to go through the cold start process, even while I decide to leave things out that might make the ground crew shudder.
