Gents, I look forward to making a fool of myself, be it at The Home Depot, infront of the pizza delivery boy, or at the supermarket.

For sure piper, I'm trying to get my brother out here so we can really tie into this thing. Years ago we fiddled with a tracking system (we ended up with hats with battery packs sewn on the side and an LED light on the peak), I forget what the software was called. We drank beers and smoked cigars and laughed into the early morning.

Sounds like Freetrack, my homemade version of the trackclip pro is made from an empty sellotape roll and the plastic tubes from some old bic pens offer taped to the side of my headset. I've been meaning to glam it up for a while. I've been tempted to buy the 'real thing' a couple of times but its hard to justify when I have a working solution.

I'll let you know as soon as my daughter gives me a turn!

Edit: due to the possibility of personal attack there is no #%&*$# way I'm showing a pic of my daughter at this #%&*$# forum. #%&*$# I'm angry

Seriously so far so good, just have some tweaking to do, I need to reduce the range in motion.

It's going to take some getting used to, yikes.

Ha, your little girl looks very serious at this, Bish. Careful, she may become the top experten in the Bisher family! LOL

It won't take long to get used to it. Once you do, there are all kinds of profiles out there to try to best match your preference. I have two joystick buttons programmed for TrackIR: center and pause. I find I recenter the TrackIR quite frequently, and I pause it briefly when I'm about to shoot, then immediately unpause it as I pull off my target to regain my Situational Awareness. Many who use TrackIR simply use a profile with a deadzone at center and don't need (or bother) with the pause/unpause as I do. Choices! A good thing. smile

Ya she's a real sweetie that one, just like her dad

So far what's really impressed me is the ability to line up to the 109 gun sight, wow that is so cool, that'd be that 6 DOF I assume.

Good tips there Snapper thanks
