Does anyone know how to create one of these? Jane's F/A-18 will not recognise the Warthog throttle so need to create a single virtual controller but no one seems to know how?

By creating a profile in either the GUI or script version of TARGET.

You can include the Cougar, Warthog, Cougar MFDs and T16000.M.

When you execute the profile, TARGET (virtually) unplugs all devices you've chosen to include, and then "plugs in" the "Thrustmaster Combined" controller.

That is what worries me, the 'unplugs' part. When I ran the BMS script the lights flickered on the throttle and I am terrified of it breaking due to the TARGET software changing things. My slew control stopped working after one profile so am worried I will break my WH.

I don't even know how to create a profile as TARGET is so complicated.

Nothing gets "written" to the Warthog pieces except commands to turn the LEDs on and off. You're not "programming" the HOTAS and you're not going to risk breaking anything by running scripts/profiles. Unlike the Cougar, 100% of the program stays on the computer.

The "unplugging" it does is entirely software - it has less chance of doing harm than when you turn your computer on and off.

I _think_ the reason your slew didn't work after you ran the BMS script is because you left the BMS script running and when you went back to DCS, it was expecting the "naked" Warthog devices (no TARGET profile running).

Again, when you run a TARGET profile (be it script or GUI), it's just a piece of software running on the computer that interprets what the sticks are doing. You are not, in any way, reprogramming/changing the stick/throttle.
