It's now about 4 years.
I'm not retarded or somthing since i study hard science.
But i can't drive a car in a sim. I can drive and run pretty well in real life, but in sims, like GTR2, Colin Mcrae dirt, GRID, Rfactor...i just can't.

On the other hand i'm 100% sure that if i play with keyboard i could win really bad, since i understand the phisics behind the game.
But with a wheel like the g25...i can't race.

Can't you give me some advice?I really want to compete.

It might be a help if you can describe what problem you are having. Is it steering? throttle response? braking? Im sure if you can be a bit more specific with your issues there are peeps here who will be only too glad to offer help.

Hey Kinex, could you be specific about your problems? i can try and help you out and as said above theres a fair few here who we have been racing with tonight who can help too!

I can say as a former keyboard user (many moons ago) it is hard to adjust to the steering wheel and pedals, it will require patience, listen if you have rfactor load up the Skoda mod on these forums, we have a server up which is running them, im more than happy to spend some time in server with you to see if we can make some progress, it will require patience, but once you make the break through its a really big sense of relief smile

Also download TeamSpeak 3 and connect to the SimHQ chat helps alot hearing feedback rather than reading it and stuff smile

But as i say list up the problems you're having and lets see what we can come up with smile

i haven't specified that is 4 years that i'm using wheels.

first problem i have is space.
I can't build a simpit at all, and i must use a office chair, that i can't findc a way to block wheels.
Then the wheel positionj is not natural, and pedals are pain for my left foot tendon.

if i try to use books to increase the ° of the pedals to 40° therea are a lot of technical problems.

i'm coming in teamspeak.

As far as blocking the wheels of an office chair goes, use a piece of carpet gripper rod behind the wheels to stop any rotation.Just lay it with the spikes facing downwards. If you happen to have wooden flooring instead of carpet then place a rug under the chair and then use the carpet gripper rod in the same way. The same method can be used to hold the pedals in place if you find they tend to move as well. If you use an office chair that has adjustable height you should be able to get it so that you can use the wheel and pedals with more comfort. As to the wheel mounting that will depend on whether you have a desk to mount it on. But it should be relatively easy to mount it and adjust the chair to suit.

it's more complicated than it seems.
Having all the pieces in the correct placeit's pretty hard.
For pedals, they have to be inclined cause i already have ruined my left foot tendon in these years.
I'm frustrated and need serious help. I can't drive anymore.

I'm sorry to bring my sadness, but i can't deal with it.

Get a cube shaped block of wood and then get it cut into a wedge shape cut to the required angle you need for resting your pedals on.

I tried changing my chair, with one with no wheels.

I solved the problem of the position.

Maybe this was causing the stress and the frustration in first place.

Thanks.

I know the problems with space dude dont you worry, i have the smallest room in the house which is my bedroom and also where my comp is, what i do to stop the chair moving is simple and very effective, i just lay a couple of Towels down and put the chair on top the wheels sink into the towels and it doesnt move any more smile as for adjusting heights/angle of the pedals i simply push them to the wall underneath at the rear of my desk, once against the wall, i will place a folded T-Shirt, yep folded! and place it under the part of the pedals against the wall elevating them making the angle more comfortable! i will add a t-shirt if its not enough or if its to much unfold it a bit smile i play with chair height too, and with that the angle my pc screen is titled so yeah i much prefer a chair without wheels to race with but none of them are comfortable enough the ones i have smile

Hope that gives you some ideas of ways to mess with things, obviously dont use your favourite shirt to prop up pedals :P
