Good to read you got it sorted....

I always like reading about other peoples set ups, as I'm not happy with mine and any ideas always help...

My current set up involves a rectangle kitchen table (so both mine and my other halves PC can fit on it) a 2 seater couch which we share, and because I've got floorboards and no carpet cut offs or spare towels I've got a old VCR sitting behind my pedals to keep them in place... The couch is a little too low so I use 2 pillows and a inflated plastic donut to raise my height so that I can see over the wheel.... lol

Big Edit

The problem is not solved at all as i thinked.

The kitchen chair is so old is falling apart and i don't want to fall and eventually hurt myself.
Also, my back is not in a good position, the back of the chair is hardly a piece of wood that break my spine in 2, not cool.

Since i can't have for now a dedicated simpit, i could change chair.

I'm not rich, i can't spend 500 euro on a sparco seat.

Try another chair it may require some changes like u made for the one falling apart but yeh its better to have a chair thats not going to hurt you in anyway

LOL. That reminds me of my first simming when I used a kitchen chair at the desk. The chair had a loose leg that occasionally fell off at the most inoportune moments! Then I graduated to my swivell office chair complete with arms and adjustable height. Ive just retired that for my new rig. The wonderful Obutto Ozone!
