you ever notice how in some WinXp machines (maybe Win7 too)that when there is an update, you end up with this residual folder on the root drive with some random alphanumeric name, usually at the very top of the folder list? I accidentally copied a video of mine into that folder and now it won't let me copy/move that file out of it. and if I burn it to a DVD or try to play it it says there is an error when I play it. When I try to move it out it says that it can't be moved to check to see if it is in use or if the disk is full. Anyway to retrieve that? It's totally stupid they'd put that folder there for all to see where you can accidentally do something like that.
Any thoughts?
