<rant on> To my knowledge, most current video games, including this one, require a modern graphics card. I tried running this sim on my state of the art Pentium 286 machine with the Voodoo graphics card and strangely enough, it wouldn't run (just kidding, hey, I'm a sarcastic guy). Seriously, when in the hell is the dev team going to bring this relatively new flight sim up to something even approximating a base level graphics capability? It is such a beautiful game at so many levels, and with FSAA, it would be jaw droppingly georgeous. It would seem to me that implementing FSAA would be one of those basic things comprising that base level of graphics capability. I'm running a GeForce GTX 560ti graphics card and it constantly complains to me about the jaggies that it is forced to render. Enough already, get FSAA into the sim. Please. <rant off>

I just forgot to take my anti-impatience medication last night, and had a sudden fit of impatience. Repeat after me ..... 2 weeks, 2 weeks, 2 weeks. Self-hypnosis, dontchaknow.

At least you can use the FXAA mod for now. Ehhhh....it's better than nothing, but only a little. The terrain shimmer is still pretty monstrous, and proper FSAA will fix that. Not to mention the lack of proper SLI scaling, too. The game's graphics engine is...a week spot.

I saw a youtube video someone did of before and after FXAA..I have to say my normal game looked better than his after FXAA. Maybe its just a old video with a older card but my jaggies are a whole lot less than his were in the after FXAA. Just saying...

My point is I cant see a big difference from My stock setting and FXAA. Would it help make my video/ screenshots better? I think I'm fine where I am, no change needed. What do you think?
