Last request, possible to have the Spitfire fly only fighter Sweep missions in the EAW original 1943 and 1944 campaigns? If anyone can make this happen for me let me know, I can pay you for your time. VonBeerhofen has made a file to get rid of the German Twin Engined Fighters, seems to work beautiful so far!

Thanks!

Hi Lonny,

Think you can do this for yourself because there is some flexibility built into the campaign.
I fly off-line campaigns and have found that after the the initial mission briefing.
You have a choice of accepting that mission or exiting back to the main screen,
re-start your pilot's campaign again and the game will offer a different
mission which, again, you can decide to accept or not.
You can continue this process until you get the mission you want to fly.....

Changing the actual campaign engine would be somewhat of an involved process.
That maybe why you're not getting any response from the 'Code Group' on this.

Cheers mate pilot

Skylark,

I'm working with Lonny right now to see if I can get the game to behave as he wishes.

The coders aren't really needed for this type of change. I had to do pretty much the same thing back when we were working on SPAW and the old editors were fairly good tools for the task at hand.

The only major problems were that some of the parameters I'd change wouldn't STAY changed. Something wrong with the save function I guess. For those I had to go back to hexediting, which is always a lot of fun.

I'm trying out Jel's new campaign editor for part of this project but I'm still using the old one to edit the squadron set ups as his doesn't seem to include that part of the modding process.

We'll see how it goes.
