Well for the tactical shooter fan, 2011 was not that great at all... but a special thanks to Adlbas and Fatty for running the SimHQ ArmA2 server all year long, with new missions, modes, and maps...frequently... and to all the SimHQ members who join every Monday to keep it the most popular/active thing we do here at SimHQ... besides #%&*$# about whats wrong in games, lol...

Thanks to fearless frog and fatty for keeping the new SimHQ BF3 server going, along with Revelation, for adding another 3 months to the BF3 server.

We had a nice try with RO2... but that fell flat...

2012 don't look to promising for tactical shooter fans, with the exception... hopefully... of ArmA3... but the action shooter games are very strong and over-saturating, 2012 should see much of the same... but even a action game, like BF3, can be just as fun, tactical, and teamwork orientated as real tac shooters... so keep your head up, and your virtual weapons locked and loaded.

Happy New Year SimHQ shooter fans... and armor and RTS fans.

I still hold out hope RO2 will rise after it gets the needed work.

I would like to see a Hidden & Dangerous 3 but that ain't happening.

Iron Front and ArmA3 will likely be good enough for my need for new tactical games, and my own HC scenarios in ArmA2 will do for me for now, and for a goodish time to come as well.

Don't count out Planetside 2.
