Hello guys! cheers
After few months i come back to eech. I wondered how improve graphically look of EECH.. today an idea come to my head - we need clouds biggrin !

New version for download 28-01-2012:
-one test texture for alaska summer (optional)
-better model, have more FPS when flying trough clouds
-most of maps gets new trees textures
-fixed cuba, lebanon , thailand

Installation:
- make sure you have render-tree-shadows=0
- dont put whole downloaded folder to game folder, in razorworks\.. should be only files that is needed (any backups in this folder will make bugs! )

They have one bug, maybe somebody can fix it. Scene has 2 files - trees and clouds over them, when you look up, and dont see trees, clouds dissapear.

Replace fast_tree folder in 3ddata\objects

Be sure you have turn on high lod hack for better look at distance [Alt+L]

wooow second movie AMAZING smile what about framerate?the same texture kills fps at smoke trails.

Of course theres fps drop somewheres, it depends on map and how much trees are there. It's nearly optimized as much as possible.

I dont know why i have black shadow inside cockpit, it doesnt matter of light position in scene , always the same. I'm using old default apache cockpit to replace. Can someone help?

The clouds look really good in the arctic environment, as when there's snow (in the UK at least) the clouds are always dark and 'solid'-looking.

BANITA - Longbow 2 had clouds already! biggrin Now crawl back on the knees! (inside joke)

The cockpit contains several scenes. Some of them use light source, and its position, direction and intensity are specified in the code.
The Viper cockpit is being made by dfang has the light defined in the scene, not in the code.

Thaks for replay. Ok i think all my problems are because i working with old apache cockpit, replacing its files etc. Maybe this old cockpit dont use light from scene but from code?
