Hahah well as I said it is pretty old seems the latest ones are now up to 12,000! I wasn't too fussed about the age of it, it's just it was rusted and seemed like a previously returned unit.

After I returned the unit to Bumper Bargains they said they don't have any in stock to replace it with but on the site it's still listed as being in stock and I could've bought one off their site, something fishy is going on with Bumper Bargains, so while the customer service was great, I have a feeling they sell Returned/B-stock units rather than brand new units.

My new stick from FlightStore turned up this morning so I'm dying to get out of work haha. Will update when I check it out later!

That is shocking that they think they could get away with sending out a rusted one, like you would just accept it! Will get mine tomorrow as I paid a fortune for Saturday delivery as I couldn't wait lol

Exactly! It's ridiculous, I have a MASSIVE feeling that if I had repurchased the stick from them, I would've just ended up with the one I returned.

And ah right haha! I ordered mine yesterday morning and paid the £9.99 for the next day delivery and it turned up this morning at 7.30, so that's great.

Because as I said, I suspect Bumper Bargains trades in returns and B-stock units, so while they mightn't of known it was rusty, it was a unit a previous customer has returned that they deemed acceptable to resell as a new unit. Which would explain a lot (the age, the condition of the unit, etc)

It doesnt :P

Got my new Warthog here, Serial number is 5349 which is still kinda old, but its in much better condition and the tags on the cords say "V3" as opposed to my old set saying V1. I'm happy.

Hopefully the buttons actually work and the stick is centered unlike my previous set. ¬___¬

Mine is 287... so I guess I'm one of the early adopters...

Gah my new stick has one of the same problems as my old stick, when I move the stick in a circle, it reaches right into the upper right, and lower right corners fine, but it will NOT reach the upper left or lower left corners. What gives?!!? Yes I've tried the calibration software

Could it be something with your PC if it's happening with different ones? Hope it's not the batch they have....

BTW, did you get DCS A-10C with the stick? I have a digital copy already but when I phoned them they weren't sure of the stock and may have to sent it afterwards. Always good to have a backup version smile

It all came this morning smile

I can't believe how heavy the stick and throttle are and so big! Build quality is amazing.

Serial is 5225 but haven't plugged in yet.

I got a copy of A-10, maybe they ran out but should send one on to you when they are back in stock, you could sell it.

Not what you tested your stick in but using the basic windows test it seems to be ok.

EDIT: Ah, I see in your other post you used Joytester2. I've just used the same and mine is fine, giving the same shapes in all corners. Hope you get it sorted. Try on another PC?

Surely you can't be that unlucky? Must be something to do with your PC?

After another couple of hours with the calibration tool I'm at this:

Tried to get through to Thrustmaster on the phone but I started as 3rd in line, then I got to first in line then I was still on hold for another 50 minutes, so I hung up.

Just checked mine again and it will do that in the top left corner at first and then it moves further to the corner. I have just tested with DCS A-10C and noticed no problems so surely it will be ok for and I am sure that won't be a huge problem?

Hi Mace can you elaborate on this please?

It's not so much that its causing problems, I just think that on such an expensive stick, it shouldn't happen.

If I am not putting constant pressure towards every corner in every move of the stick I will get different lines drawn in the test software. To me the pressure need to move the stick is greater than my X52 so I cannot see you getting a constant with every rotation of the stick.

End of the day if it does that but it doesn't effect it in sim then I would be happy but then you maybe think differently about it.
