If it is a matter of replecating the 3dz's then that isn't a problem thanks to one of Tony's magic proggys. However, I haven't looked at the solution yet, so I'll have to look and see. If it is a good one then I'll update the E-4s too.

Nope, didn't help. In fact there are other problems now...

The green triangles don't exist on the 3dz

This is new

Hi Mike.

I just sent you the two files, to show you what's needed from you. The new join has to be straight, so I've had to introduce two elements, which had been deleted, behind the cockpit. There is no painted texture on the pcx to map these two elements. The new tail just needs the loop antenna, and wire remapped. Once you give me the nod, that you can fix these changes, I can attack the RS problems in the tail, which will need a bit of rebuilding, to get it working properly, but no changes in mapping. The left side hole is already fixed. I was me trying to work quickly, last night, which caused it.

Lol!!! hahaha
and I thought it was something simple.... hahaha
Seems there is NOTHING simple about 3dz'ing!
Maybe if I stay 'in-cockpit' more, I wont notice these things! yep
Thanks guys,
AO

I've just sent Mike the three fixed files. All Mike needs to do is repaint a small area of the Tex file, to cover the elements, which I've reintroduced to the model.

The tail works fully normally now. wink

Update:

The fix works but will require a small reskinning effort. Let's see, 16 F's 16 E's, 16G's and then a conversion to 8-bit, 48 total panels repainted and then converted, 96 in all, then 48 3dzs replaced, that's the easy part folks. Then, the E-4's will get the same treatment. So, a few weeks work there....

I thinks I'll ask for a raise...
