what a way to start the new year.
pretty crazy, eh. Shame he could not have just killed himself and spared the other 3 lives.

One of two Navy pilots shot to death in Coronado early New Year's Day committed suicide, the
San Diego County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday.

John Robert Reeves, 25, an F/A-18 pilot in training at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, killed himself with a gunshot to the head, according to the Sheriff's Department.

The other three people killed -- Navy pilot David Reis, 25; his sister, Karen, 24; and Matthew Christopher Saturley, 31, of Chula Vista -- are listed as homicide victims.

The circumstances that led to the violence remain undisclosed.

yeah, the guy was a F/A-18 pilot for christ's sake! such a dream job.
