How cold is cold?

The danger is in freezing the display - at least that would happen with liquid crystal displays. The -Ice inside the display will crack it.

Where I live and work, leaving an iPod in the car at any time of year is an invitation to get a window smashed wink

If it has a hard drive like my Zune 120, I would not leave it in the car. If it's solid state like my wife's Zune 32Gb, we leave it in the car all the time.

Around here I only worry about leaving things in the car during the REST of the year. The winter is the safe time! smile
