I am also looking for the full BDG patch for mig alley, the one at the TrackIr site is not the full one apparently? Is there a way to run this @ 1920X1080?
Thanks!

Got the BDG stuff, thanks Stonehouse! Haven't been able to find an answer to my resolution question though. Right now I'm trying to get it to run smooth, I can't believe that it's such a low framerate.

Ok, besides talking to myself in this thread, I have another problem. Framerates are terrible. They start off locked at 50 fps but when I dive down and am looking at a town, airstrip, etc. they drop bigtime. If I select the last quick mission, it gets down in the teens. There must be something I'm missing since I don't see any complaints about it. I have tried every setting config, and no dice. I have about 3000 times the minimum spec so that shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks

Pro Tip: If you have ever been desperate to get this running smoothly and thought "What the hell, lets try it in Windows 95 compatibility mode" don't...trust me on this one.

I wish I could help, as I had the same problem with Mig Alley. It stuttered really badly, despite good specs on my PC.
I tried off and on for several years, and after upgrade got it running smoothly (unfortunately I can't remember which GPU, but either Nvidia GTS 250 or GTX 470 on Win XP)... and then it started to crash during campaigns, and I gave up.h
Great game, but I'm going to wait for the next Korea. There's supposed to be one being done by Il-2 team, but probably going to be a while, as they're working on Battle of Moscow currently.
Il-2 1946 itself has been modded, so if you're after the aircraft as opposed to the Rowan game, you could try this:
Apart from that, all I can suggest is to read every single thread relating to Mig Alley. Good luck.
I have been checking everything I can find on Mig Alley, but most sites are shutdown and not much forum activity. Besides, I'm looking for issues running it on modern systems.

the il 1946 mod for 1950's jets ( north & south ) is that the 4.11 patch. Saw the vid and loved it, so just ordered the dvd on amazon. A year & half ago I started playing ROF my first flight sim. I was looking at FSX but after seeing the 1950,s jets FSX holds nothing for me. Thinks for the help and the conversion.
I am dying for a new Korean War era flight sim. Mig Alley had a great dynamic campaign system, so I would love to see something along those lines. I wish the folks at BMS could work some magic with Mig Alley like they did with Falcon.
