The question of how you were able to calculate Table SR-71

And why distance of 80 km, 34 km launch range in the Dvina!

According to the earlier posts (which you seem not to read, instead posting the same question dozens of times - which is wearing a bit thin already) the firing range was nearer 73km, and the 80km lock range was not updated after jamming commenced.

The missile has a 34km flight/interception range, the target closes the remaining 40km in the flight time of the missile, which incidentally confirms intercept to be impossible against a receding SR71.

The missile could be fired at closer ranges, but then the crossing angle is higher and the missile must turn more to track the target - this is likely to exceed guidance/manoeuvre limits in a steepening intercept geometry - using the longest practical range greatly simplifies intercept geometry.

Russian Forums are, but they are few and there are few who are interested in this simulator.

So I have to translate differently in any way!

Because Hpasp not understand in Russian, sorry.

The manuals of the SIM are on russian, I am understanding basic russian, sure others here too... i sugest you this one (I have it from Hpasp, god bless him! wink ):

http://historykpvo.narod2.ru/

It really has 95% of information you need! There is one more topic here for the SIM, created by Hpasp... I sugest you to check it too, then check this topic from the begining (I know there are 138 pages, but you can do this for a week, even faster - depend how many free time you have), and take some notes (this is what i did). Many problems are discussed here, and many questions are answered. If you really have difficulties, you can write me PM on russian, but with latin alphabet (I think it's against rules to use other language in the posts, at least cyrilic not supported - which is not good), I'll help as I can.

P.S. Is there any handy way to search in this forum? It could be nice I found one.
