A good interview with simracer Brian Heitkotter who was one of the top iRacing guys and won the 2011 GT5 GT Academy this year and is 6 months into his professional racing career program sponsored by Sony and will be racing at the 24hr of Dubai.
From his past posts on iRacing and GTP before he won this, he always seemed like a great down to earth guy, I was glad to hear him say how endurance simracing has helped him focus on the track in real life now, it will be interesting to watch and see how far his real career goes.
Also some kudos to Sony for sponsoring this simracing to real racing program, a previous GT Academy winner Lucas Ordonez has gone on to a successful racing career racing prototypes at 24h Spa, 24h Lemans, 24h Sebring, PetitLemans etc, and won the 2011 LMP2 title this year, here's hoping Bryan has a similar bright future ahead, I know I am cheering for these guys.
