Now we are talking about what 4- 5 (?) Graviteam sims in this forum and often itīs very confusing about what sim the thread is talking about.

I recommend to use a prefix in the first post title like

(SF42) for Steel Fury 42

(SA:BoW) for Steel Armor: Blaze of War

(AP:OS) for Achtung Panzer: Operation Star

(AP:K43) for Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943

Thx,
Rends

I agree Rends and like you ideal, it is getting somewhat confusing esecially with so many new releases close together and the oldest simulator (release wise SFK42) is still pretty darn active.
cheers

Probably best to do some sub branches for each game your own?

Add to Rends list our inner prefixes:
K42 - Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942
K43T - Achtung Panzer series (wargame)
MTC80 - Steel Armor series (tank simulator/combat)
grunt

and reserve for future H39T, did you guess what it will be rofl

F39 would be interresting, but alot of forest fights.

I would like to see more conventional WW2 Theatres where the strengt of your engine (mechanized warfare on Battalion level) gets to work. And the most interesting battles with this are between germany and russia on the east front not deep in the forest somewere on the russian-japanese border or Karelija.

For Steel Armor i would like to see something like Fulda 1985 (hypotetical battle between nato and the east in germany).

So on Nomongan exactly what it was - a huge "crowd" of armors at the tank accessible areas (no forests at all smile ). Better and bigger than in most Easter front battles.

It's hard and expensive to work at landscapes at first.

And now

Ideal for huge tank battles, for example tank regiment vs tank regiment crew

I would love to see something like Operation Bagration for the far future, though Khalkhin Gol has barely been covered in sim/computer wargaming circles. smile

Winter War would be interesting when considering the amount of troops on each side. And because I'm finnish.

Finland
ready

Russia
crew

A real defensive scenario for a single player operation! Charge Impossible to win! Wounded

At this time all had paper tanks (USSR, Germany, Britain, Poland) or clown tanks (France, Japan) and clown-paper tanks (USA) rofl . Such was the time smile

Japanese tanks were quite respond adequately to tasks and the saturation of AT weapons for the infantry was probably the largest among all countries.

Agree, Soviet-Finnish War 1939-1940 would be interesting, but not for tanks, I guess. So, in my opinion, it will be Khalkhyn-Gol, anyway, I still remember that Graviteam was going to make it after SFK'42 release.
