HI, can anyone help me with this. I bought 1946 from Getgames and have downloaded all the files. When I click on install i get the select language screen and then onto the opening screen where you can click install. However when I try to install nothing happens. I am running Win 7 64 bit and have UAC turned off. I have also tried making an ISO and making a disk image but with the same results.
Thanks for any help.

Have you tried running as an administrator? See if that makes any difference at all...

Thanks Dave but yes I've tried that. Trawling through theses excellent forums it seems I need a file called a.exe but that isn't included on my download from Getgames but is if you download from GOG, very odd. Anyone know where I could download A.exe?

Make sure you install it anywhere but the default program files directory. (programmes x86?) A separate /games/ folder or something similar should work.

Trouble is JAMF I don't even get to the stage where I can choose where to download.

This is as far as I get, click install and then nothing. As it's only $4.99 from GOG at the moment I'm downloading from there so hope that works.

Thanks for all the help guys, downloading from GOG right now. I bought Cliffs Of Dover from GetGames and that was fine but is a little too much for my rig at the moment, hope they patch it up and make it playable as I don't fancy spending £350 on a new MB and CPU just to play a game. My Q6600 and crossfired 5850's should run 1946 pretty well though I hope.

Sorry, been away all day. Glad to see it's sorted. It did look like an incomplete download. I got mine from GoG as well.
