Rick, the physics seem pretty good (although I am a fixed wing guy). I think DCS:BS has the higher fidelity flight model though. Having said that, I have had a much more entertaining helicopter 'experience' with TOH. The Seattle environment looks great and the missions make a refreshing change from the standard sim fare of 'fly here and shoot this'.
Sounds as if it's worth it then, thanks Paul.
I'm with you on the "fly here and shoot this" bit. I even use the mission editor in pretty much all my sims to create missions in which I can just enjoy flying and experience the aircraft.
I like some air combat now and then, but the main reason I started flight simming was to get my hands on the controls of all the stuff I wish I had flown in real life. For me it's first and foremost about flight.
I think the company's store sells a boxed copy of this if I'm not mistaken. If so, I may see if I can order a copy from Czechoslovakia. With my Internet connection, downloading it would be a small career.
Thanks for the feedback Paul!
Cheers!
Rick...
