Wargamer.com put up their review (pretty short on text...but hits all the spots) on Christmas day of Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy.

Seems like a fairly reasonable review. I do agree that Battlefront needs to improve things as they relate to graphics. The game looks alright, but it could definitely benefit from some polish.

The CMx2 engine needs performance enhancement, the graphics sure need polish (awesome units, bland floating terrain), but the engine runs like crap on any configuration that i tested it (nvidia 8800gt, ATI 5770, ATI 6870, ATI 6550m), the sluggish camera is a killer for me. Played the demo for CMSF like 10 times, can't stand the camera. I play ADOM and Dwarf Fortress, but if you do 3D graphics, at least make it smooth.
