and yes, call me a traitor... but still getting it for Xbox 360. (I tell myself it's required as the SimHQ land combat editor, lol)

He could have shortened the interview considerably if he had simply said:
"We wanted to make a shooter just like Call of Duty but with a cover system and we want to put the Ghost Recon name on it because otherwise we won't sell a single copy."
Am I missing something? Was Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 a bad game? Why did they feel the need to completely overhaul the game mechanic and go from being a tactical shooter to a run-of-the-mill action shooter? There was plenty of "action" in GR:AW2.
Your mileage may vary but for a LONG time, GR:AW2 was my favorite game on the 360. I thought it offered a compelling campaign and fun co-op multiplayer.
"...more fast paced and more action oriented..."
Ugh. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

TBH Ghost Recon 2 (Xbox) on the 360 upsampled to 720p was the best one.
Oh, I don't know about that. I actually still have that one. The dialog with your squadmates in that game was pretty awful. Like a script written by a 14 year old.
