Have you manually updated using the punkbuster tool? If not, its worth downloading and occasionally updating,.......it fixes most disconnect problems based around PB as the latest version/updates rarely synchronize in-game

Link for punkbuster update tool

The servers you join also have to be updated. The admin has to do this manually every single time. They don't push punkbuster updates.

Do you have a link explaining this? There are no options at all on the server back-end for controlling Punkbuster.

Nevermind, I ran an update - see if it makes a difference.

No difference for me. Sorry.

I am just one of unlucky thousands that cannot still play.

Ha, after the downtime to do 'groundwork' for the patch this morning I get kicked from every game. Never had it before, now I can't stay on for more than two minutes, annoying as hell. Anyone had this start today? Anyone know how to solve it?
The message I get when I try to rejoin is this "Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'Bokon0n' (for 2 minutes) ... Prior Kick/Ban" Whe I get kicked at first it just says kicked from game.

I've given up on this game until they patch it....I constantly get the "black loading screen of death" (didn't used to, just started after the last game update), there's blatant cheaters that have been playing for WEEKS or MONTHS and still playing (WTF is PB even for when it kicks people for no reason but cant catch cheaters???), and I just started getting the problem Bokononist described for the 3rd time.

F this game

@ Bokononist: The only way I fixed the PB issue was to follow these steps:

Should work until the next "update" lol!
