Howdy all. I'm a long time Il-2 series fan who just picked up 'Cliffs on Steam for a song. I'm having some trouble getting my Logitech G940 Joystick/Throttle/Rudder setup to work in this sim. The control setup page show several axis and buttons mapped, but nothing on the joystick throttle or pedals works in the game and I cannot map joystick buttons or axis. I'm kind of lost here. Is there something glaringly obvious I'm missing, or is there some compatibility issue with this joystick and Cliffs of Dover? Thanks.

If memory serves you navigate to the ingame Controls/Axis and you can just click or double click in the appropriate box, and move the appropriate control, and save.

That's just it... I can go to that page and try to change stuff but the game doesn't seem to see the buttons/axis of my controls.

A lot of games are pretty picky about having the joystick as controller 1. You can set that in the gaming profile app that installs with the 940. I have to remap the rudder and throttle every now and then in-game due to them switching places (for example, the axis is now u-slider 2 instead of 1).

I had the same problems as you and If I remember correctly it was related to the ID.
