I had to wash a cat I had years ago because he got covered in motor oil and he turned into the most evil creature lol. Had to wear thick gloves and wrap towels around my arms.

unrelated to the thread, but in case anyone ever wondered, if you ever need to bathe a cat, put it in a bucket with its front paws on the rim of the bucket. most cats will not freak out if you bathe them like this rather than in a bathtub.

I had a cat that loved the water and surprised all of us when she calmly jumped up onto the bath rim while I was having a bath and walked down my chest into the water, I was terrified of those sharp claws in close proximity of my wedding tackle. When she came out the bath she looked like a rat with all the fur stuck to her body.
But then again she loved to go on the motorbike with me, I would put her in my jacket and she would crawl down my arm and stick her head out the cuff of my jacket.
Sadly now I'm allergic to cat fur and cannot touch a cat.

Luckily every cat we ever had when I was a kid loved the water. They were always playing in the nearby creek.
