Hi Guys,

I have a merged install patched up to 4.10.1. Since patched up from 4.09, the aircraft labels (both enemy and friendly) often disappear when far away (but within 5.0 mileso tough), then when I get closer, they reappear like pulling up from behind an invisible curtain with horizontal edge, not just popping up. Any advise?

If you are playing in DirectX, switch it to OpenGL.

There is a value you can give some variable in one of the control files that will cause the labels to show up sooner or later. But darn if I can not find any info on this.

nice info but I can not find where any of that is any file I can edit. And what is the chat window? The only thing I could think of is while the game is up and I am trying to type for the chat in text. I have a hard time believing I can set values in the game from that chat window.

Use the RCU file to create a shortcut command and then use that shortcut command to change to the values you set in the RCU file.

Default Filepath:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft2\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\RCU

I have used the method described by Bearcat99 regarding the RCU file in this post successfuly in the past. I did not use IL2-Stab.
