There is a new download available for testing. It is the one referred to in my response to SagginB.
The link is in the "1.28E users" thread.

Nice progress Tony!

I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

One thing exciting about the extension of available terrain / tiles I think is that geographical areas / climate can be more diverse.
So for instance one terrain might have complete deserts,
green valleys, alpine, snowy peaks / bare peaks, tropical, artic, farmland, rocky coasts / sandy coasts etc.

Also I should be able to make my water tiles match coasts in the various scenarios now.
