I just upgraded my pc and now have Win 7. Microsoft's site says this wheel is not Win 7 compatible. Looking around, I don't see any wheels that say they are Win7 compatible. Are there any? Or can I make the Microsoft one work? Thanks.

That sucks that Microsoft cannot make their own wheel compatible.

There are plenty of wheels that are Win7 ready, I am using the Logitech G25 myself, what is your budget?

I had a Microsoft Sidewinder FF wheel for years and it worked with every Windows version through Vista. I didn't use the software that came with it. Just plug and play.

David, budget probably $150-200.
Lowell, will try it and see what happens. Thanks, guys.

I use my Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel together with Windows 7 and it runs without any problems. As LowellJewell mentioned you do not need the software, Windows will use a provided default driver for the wheel.

Logitech DFGT here and works like a charm on my win7 64b!

Good luck,

Cheers

I second that. And DFGT is probably the best choice for your budget.

The Sidewinder FFB wheel works out of the box with Win 7 32-bit and 64-bit - the old sidewinder software works perfectly well too if you need additional configuration.

I think it's more a case of just not supported anymore by Microsoft.

I have no need for it back cheers.......I bought a G27 a few months ago myself when 'Myrig' from these boards offered a 50% discount voucher for anything on the Logitech website. I got rid of my DFP soon after.
