After about a 15 year break away from modeling, I thought it might be time to take a stab at an old hobby again. Originally it was a thought that it could be a "cheaper" hobby than gaming to get back into. About $200 in paint, supplies, etc. say hello... I had a few old models that I had previously bought but never built, this Mclaren was the one I decided to take a stab at. So please be gentle, lol. I have been away for a long time and have seen some of the magnificent work that some of you put into your models.
I have a Tamiya 1/12 '67 Lotus 49 in my stash, looking forward to building it
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!
Yes, it was the Tamiya. I forgot about the difficulty of decals, and ended up having to paint the orange on the engine cowl. Will have to get more practice with that.
Nice! I've been looking all over the place for an un-built one of these.
