CCP has opened Dust514 beta testing!

However, you have to be a EVE Online player to join and I am not.

Is anyone here an EVE Online player that registered for the Dust514 beta test? If so give us your opinion and comments of the game if you are so allowed!

Looks like there are a fair number of eve players pissed off about dust 514 being PS3 only. God help those poor consolers if the eve online players can really "nuke them from orbit." If that is a feature of the games being paired I don't see it lasting very long before it's nerfed because of the whining from the PS3 players.

Anyone remember the protests they had over microtransactions and other stuff in game. Hell even CCP destroyed one of the memorials that the players were attacking in honor of the protests. Well take a look at post #128 at the Dust 514 dev blog forum thread, dev blog closed beta thread. Someone has already suggested a mass orbital bombardment in protest. As I said above god help the PS3 players.

I registered but haven't heard anything about if I've been selected or not yet. Guess only time will tell.

If they guaranteed you access I'd probably reactivate my Eve account for a month. I want to see the new patch changes anyway. Still find it unbelievable they are not releasing this game on PC.
