It looks awesome!

Is the realistic ballistics off? It seems that aircrafts are lit up/gutted/chopped way too easily. Also, at 1:44, what's up with the gunnery? There is clearly not enough lead to light up that 109's tail.

Amazing.

I agree with Recoil, however, that everything seems to be made out of paper. But hey, maybe that Yak has an uber cannon on it. They did make Yaks with insane cannons.

That was a Yak, right?


God I hope this game is good.

The damage model appears in the vids identical to Wings of Prey...lotsa BOOM BLAM POW, wings n tails blowing off, planes smoking to earth. Which judging by the number of complaints that this doesnt happen in Cliffs of Dover, means there is a market for Hollywood effects on PCs too!

at 1.26 to 1.28 there must be another russian plane that hits that 88 ? From above ? Or does the damage model work on an enlarged hit box? Cause there isnt any way the filming plane was getting his bullets on target smile

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011
