excuse my ignorance... but I haven't played Blackshark since the first 6 months of release... now that I have BS2 installed and running... I noticed a few new options that I don't know what they are or mean? If anyone could advise...

What is HDR, it's unchecked by default... If i remeber correctly that's something to do with more graphic features... but is it that blur that is over done in most new games lately?

What is TSSAA and should i enable it with my kick ass system... probably something to do with AA I assume.

Radio assist vs Easy Comms... whats the difference, which is recommended?

and finally... I liked how the trim worked in BS1, once i learned it... what is central position trimmer and how do i use it? I remember before just getting in straight flight, hitting T then letting go of the stick and it would hold that trim?

thx... looking forward to getting back into this one.

HDR are the advanced graphical effects - there are 3 settings to choose from (To the left of the check box). The Cold setting is the Original DCS HDR setting - Normal and Warm may be to your preference.

TSSAA provides AA to transparent textures - such as Railings and trees - it has a significant performance hit for me for little gain.

Radio assist is stuff like Missile warning direction.

Easy commms changes frequencies on the radios automatically.

Central position trimmer - Controls will be disabled until the stick and rudder centred after trimming - I prefer not to use this. It is an attempt to prevent over controlling the helo after trimming - but usually it just gets in the way when thing are busy.
