Right now, I cannot seem to decide.

It has to be an Android system for sure. This started off as something I want to buy for my girlfriend for Christmas and after looking at the features I 'need' one as well smile

So which one do you prefer guys ? And why ?

I haven't seen them side-by-side, but I chose the SGS2 for the OLED screen. When it gets dark, the black on screen is black... not black with a glow behind it. When it needs to be bright, it will be bright. I would have wished for longer battery life, but I tend to charge it at home, charge it in the car, charge it at work if I need to. I can always go with a camel-hump back-cover that comes with a 3500mAh battery. eek2

For Malaysia and other hot and humid climates, it would be good to ask user experiences there. I've had a colleague complain his smartphone's (iPhone4 I think) touch screen wasn't very responsive.

Thanks for the reply, JAMF.

After reading internet reviews all day, I went to the stores and compared both units side by side. Incidentally, I was looking at the newer HTC Sensation XE with the 1.4 processor.

I think they are both very, very decent units. In the end, I went with the Samsung. It's got everything the other phone has and one big selling point for me was the lightness, and extra storage space. Very happy with it thus far.

Congrats on the new all-in-one gadget! thumbsup

Here's a thread that should get you started: Victim of the times...

Too bad you missed the sale, unless you already had an Android device. Apps are account based, so you can have them on multiple devices (if they work on the device).

MOTOROLA DROID RAZR IS BY FAR THE BEST. I PICKED ONE UP FOR CHRISTMAS. I AM USING IT (4G) TO RESPOND TO THIS THREAD. I LOVE IT. THE COMPETITION CAN'T MEASURE UP.

Apparently your Motorola Droid Razr is brocken, since the lower case letters don't appear to work. biggrin

JAMF, I'm using my PC now. I should point out that you must have a defective key on your SGS2. You typed out the word "brocken" instead of "broken." biggrin

Seriously, though, I'm curious why you didn't even present the Droid Razer as a possible choice on your list of Android phones. It is the best.

2 reasons:
-I was presented with a choice between two, that didn't include the Motorola. smile
-After getting the SGS2, I didn't pay too close attention to what came out after, otherwise I should and would have mentioned it as an option.

Looks like that Razr XT910 is indeed a very nice alternative.

BTW, if you have suggestions for apps, I'm always curious for cool, new and better ones. In case you do, add them in the "Victim of the times..." thread. thumbsup
