As far as i know, only the demo can be downloaded. The full game is shipped on 8 DVD's and is about 60gb give or take. I dont have it, but thats what ive read. I think because of the size, they are only shipping out the DVD's. I had ordered XPlane 9 last year and it shipped pretty fast. Had it within 3-4 days. Now with the holidays, it may take a little longer. I think I read it taking a few hours to install as well.

Rob

P.S. I also read that you need to download a new installer from Xplanes site before installing the game from the DVD's.

Cool thanks man. I was hoping that maybe they had a D/L for it so I could play it during my Christmas break. Oh well I will just order it and get it next year.

Yeah X plane 9 was like 80 GB if you installed all discs. Oh well I really like xplane 9 over MS. Each have thier own thing but I think X plane is a bit better IMO.

Sounds good. Im still on the fence about it. I tried the demo and it seems a nice improvment over XP9. Im still on the fence about it and want to see what flight has to offer first. Im also heavily invested in FSX and finally got it running well by pouring money into my computer. Seems the only way to get it to run well.
If XP10 gets a lot of aftermarket support, and flight is a bomb, I may take the plunge.
When you get it, post some screen shots and your thoughts about it. Its still on my radar screen and a potential buy. Id love to hear your opinions.

Take care and Have a great holiday!

Rob

I dont think flight will bomb. The thing that turned me off form the last MS Flight sim was the fact that it was so poor performance wise until they patched it I couldn't play it. X plane on the other hand was perfect right out of the box.

Once I get it I will post some shots and my impressions. Oh and another thing I like about X plane, The plane creator!
