The OFP Lib1944 mod - and if it is the same people involved we're in for a very good ride...

You don't need a novel iteration of an engine to work miracles...

Yes, well the OFP mod added area specific damage and armour penetration to tanks. It also had dirty scopes, improved ballistics etc. Added to that top notch terrain (including grass), new animations, and decent AI upgrades and you have arguably the best mod for OFP...

What they can do on a commercial license for Arma II should be even more impressive...

it WAS a mod. It's now a separate game built on a licensed arma engine. You have to purchase it, which i intend to do.
