Tonight we'll tackle Sahrani campaign mission 18, built by Meatshield and previewed here. There have been a few new missions from Tao lately, plus a few that we've not beaten here and there. And we've got the CS series too. So it'll be a mix from the library. See you there!

There's another new Brits+Jackals mission on the server as well, 'Taking Nur' on Takistan.

Great missions. Even played a little EVO after everyone left. Tanker, Tao and I had a nice system going of air support and ground spotting.

Some fun stick time on the A-10, although it was frustrating at the start - running around the airbase trying to find the plane, then figuring out how to refuel it. I have no idea what killed me; I was making a rocket pass on something that was sending up tracers, and blacked out quite suddenly. I don't think my plane sustained any damage before I died, so I can only assume that I was taken out in the cockpit by a very lucky shot.

The A-10 actually went down in a spectacular ball of flames. Whatever hit you must have been big. I watched you explode mid air and arc into the ground as a flaming, smoking mess.

Hmm, interesting! No missile warning either. Maybe Tao snuck some big AAA in there?

Yea, I saw many black puffs from something shooting your A-10 on that pass. Then the black puffs turned into fire as Beans says. I wondered too if your player had been killed by a lucky shot, since there was no deviation in your flight path, just straight on into the ground.
