Closest would be as stated above...RO2 or BF3 (both in multiplayer, SP would not work, ai too stupid)..with some voip. Pretty dismal..what was last years? or the year before that? What was the last true tactical shooter released? Not mod, but full on game?


This, unless the ArmA 2 DLC was released this year. RO2 is not as realistic or tactical as RO1, but it might be the only contestant. BF3 is a nice game, but it is arcadey and not tactical at all.

I personally like RO2, when you play with like minded players it can be tactical needs a few more things to be well balanced but still better than the BF3/MW3 power-up earned hacks arcadefest.
