Thanks Pakfront, for a minute there I thought I was losing my mind.

it seems smoother to me as well - i even upped a few of the graphics settings and it still SEEMS to run better, granted I'm playing through the campaigns and each mission has a different number of units so it's hard to compare. also never did any FPS measurements with any version of the game so have no actual data to support it.

one item that is a HUGE improvement over BS1 and earlier versions of BS2 is the initial "panning around the cockpit microstutters" - they just aren't there any more.

Trim for Force Feedback is also fixed, which also prevents the autopilot from going into hysteresis. excellent.
