Not long ago we revealed our Alpha-testers and let them come out.
Limited in their comments with the NDA everyone had signed they could only give short but emotional descriptions of their playing experience.

Now they have terrific fan videos that we can’t but agree to publish!
And here comes the first one filmed, directed and edited by VerTun – World of Planes Alpha-test virtual pilot and Russian forum moderator at forum.gaijin.ru!!

When I first heard of this I was imagining World of Tanks but with planes, it looks pretty good, much better than Wings of Prey.

You can already see much better plane handling and the colors are much much better (nothing is over saturated with a weird filter)

I don't think it looks "much better than Wings Of Prey," but it looks good. And on a minor note, I'm glad to see that they added the handle on the Spitfire canopy that you use to open and close it. IL-2 left it off, and then WOP used the same cockpit and also omitted it. Not a big deal, but I like the cockpits to look correct.

Even Codemasters the king of cheesy arcadey monochromatic filters finally got ride of them with F1 2011... there is a reason for it: they are UGLY!

I am looking forward to this. With some AI, some good sound and a mission builder with pacific carriers, this game could be really fun.
