My combat stick, which is six months old has developed a pronounced lag in elevator action ( sorry don't know axis.) Is there as simple solution or do i send it back to CH? I bought the whole CH system of throttle pedals and stick based on reputation after poor performance of G940. Naturally a trifle worried.

That would be the Y axis. Let's see what we can do...

Do yo use Control Manager?
Have you calibrated in Control Manager?

Ghost, thanks for the response. I think I may have solved the problem. I am not using CH manager and was relying on the response seen in W7 control panel. Attempts at recalibration only seemed to make matter worse so I did as I always do with a problem and went back to first principles. I went to calibration and pressed default. It appears to have solved the issue but I will look closely at using CH control manager. Just glad it seems it was not the stick. After continued trouble and replacement of my last system I was not looking forward to the same woes.

No problem. However, to properly calibrate any CH Product you should use Control Manager. You don't have to use it for assigning functions in game options. But, it helps once you get used to it.
