My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011

Nice pics, love the second one!

Btw, did the Avias fly with droptanks in Israeli service? I've always thought they were more of "ferry tanks" used to get the aircrafts to Israel, but not used on operational missions.

Ironic that the Avia S-199 looks like a German 109.

The Avia-Messesrchmitt was made in two versions, first the S-99 (and corresponding two-seater CS-99), which were basically G-6's built after the war according (the Avia-factory produced Messerschmitts for Germany during the war). However, they soon run out of DB 605-engines, so instead they fitted a Jumo 211 with a new propeller. The new propeller caused massive torque, and the aircraft was in no way superior to the original G-6. Quite a number were produced for the Czech air force and air national guard anyway, as they were desperate for new equipment. A number were then sold to Israel, which, in an extremly ironic twist, saw the "Messerschmitt" meet the Spitfire (in Egyptian service) in -48.

Avia also made a copy of the Me 262 designated S-92, which saw limited service with the czech before deliveries of license-produced Mig-15 and Yak-23 came into service.

That's because its a czech-made Bf-109G with a Junkers Jumo engine.

My question for the pic taker? Does the Avia accidentally shoot off its propeller? That would be a high fidelity flight model. Do they ground loop on take off and landing too?
