Is there a thread or a website with schematics in a 1:1 scale of the various simpits available or even real cockpits to be downloaded?
I've been looking around and there doesn't seem to be that one stop shop of different pits in a sticky we could use. Anyone know of any?

From what I've seen people generally do their own design for a simpit, so a mojority of simpits are completley unique to each individual and it would be up to them to distribute thier design. The only simpit schematics/plans I've seen out there in any number are the AkersBarnes pit (google it) and RogerDoger Aviation (http://www.rogerdodger.net/).

You find on the Web drawings to build a (sim) F-16, A-10, Ka-50, Fw-190... cockpits.
And generics ones like mentioned Akers Barners (ABC), SimLigh (basically a folding chair with HOTAS support).

Thanks fellas! Just looked a little empty being a simpit forum and not a page or sticky with at least some schematics that give some inspiration and ideas. I'll be starting a fresh build on a 3'x5' rolling platform. Going to be using acrylic and aluminum. Found a black tractor chair with slider that looks comfortable. My current pit is just too non-immersive.
