Until we see decent indepth reviews, I'm glad we have the demo and it keeps being updated, as that is a great way to see how it would run on our systems and also to experience how XP10 handles the flightsim world compared to other sims.
Just based on my observations, it seems like XP10 functions best for those that were already XP9 experienced, either they already know how to tweak their settings or had hardware combos that worked well with the way XPlane works, and they had already gotten used to the way it handles views and the world differently from FSX so they can jump right in and enjoy it, as it seems like the impressive looking videos and reviews are coming from those XP experienced folks whereas many of us who are new to it but hopeful still seem to be struggling to get it to run well and get used to how to fly and do basic stuff like views, TrackIR and move around in the world.
Thankfully the demo keeps getting updated and I think the timeout was extended to 15min so hopefully it will allow people like me to stick with it as it is improved and eventually get it running well, so far i am not ready to drop $80 on it, but am still hopeful for it to get better and for me to learn how to work with it so that it will be worth it to me to purchase it.
