you'll be asked if you want to download it once you start the game IF you have the special edition pre-order... it is free. I don't see it on the game marketplace, but maybe it's there... i find the new game marketplace difficult and confusing... 2.07 GB and even with my wired connection it is slow... (and i still got to download it on my other wireless system, lol)... working tonight so will be on TODAY as soon as it's downloaded.

the patch is 3.7 GB alone... the PC patch is 3.7gb.
the karkland Download is released with the patch.
the Xbox 360 Patch is 2.07GB + The Back to Karkland Pack (karkland, oman, sharqi, wake island)
Still debating, PC or Xbox 360.... I want to use my HOTAs for Chopper/Aircraft flying.....
I'd still have to get 2 copies on the PC, 1 for me and 1 for my brother...
Also dont know if my 8800 will even run the game, but my brothers XFX 5830 is on its way back finally.

My brother's PC should be up and running maybe this weekend, Im gonna get him BF3 and the karkland pack., but Im gonna wait till i get my system upgraded.
in BFP4F, i stomp people on karkland once i get into the tank w/ my brother as support in the AmAsV

In a word......awesome.
Love ALL the maps (and I'd never been a fan of Wake Island but even that one is terrific).
Overall, a terrific map pack even if it doesn't include anything new.

I'll get it when it goes on sale. Only 9 measly maps in the vanilla game, and only 4 more in this paid update. That brings it to 13 total, which is still low for an MP game. If it allowed custom maps I would be ok, but they locked the game down sadly. Imagine an RO or PR type mod for BF3...

Great maps, but I seriously hate Conquest Assault, sometimes DICE are just stupid.
