For the price of that controller, I could buy a seat, some materials, and make my own custom cockpit.... wait, I've done that already, and for a lower price.

But the cost of buying tools on top of that and not being bothered to actually do it on top makes it worth it for me smile

Lol, the materials itself is almost dirt cheap, and decent tools can be had for less than £100. Plus, once you have the tools, "future projects" will be even cheaper. And trust me, there WILL be future projects!!

At the moment, I can probably build a second pit for less than £30 of materials. biggrin

Haha... I am looking to get rid of this current pit as I've already got ideas for a new and improved design. My pit build needs a little tweaking and once the weather gets warmer, I'll be back in the shed behind the house making cuts for my new pit. It is surprisingly very easy to "assemble" a pit, it is much harder to get the measurements right and get the cuts as accurate as possible.
