I've noticed the Military Monday attendance has been lower than usual the past couple of months and I was just curious to see input from other members here as to why that might be.
Have you been not attending or barely attending for any of these reasons?

It's a combination of things for me. I typically work 'til 8PM, so if I get home between 8PM-9PM I would have to jump online w/o any time for dinner and/or a shower 'til 10PM-11PM. And, I've been attempting to spend some of that free time playin' the vast collection of games that I've managed to acquire over the years, especially the collection of games that I've acquired through Steam. My network has been a big issue for me in regards to playin' online for any moderate amount of time. I don't always have the patience to jump through hoops in an attempt to get the network stable enough for a couple of hours w/o getting disconnected. In order to fix the problem I would have to replace the modem that was provided by the cable company, call the cable company and inform them of the new hardware, blah blah blah...

I've got a kid at home that wakes everytime a mouse farts. So I'm no good over TS. It kind of kills the game for me.

All of the above for me. Having played Monday nights for almost three years straight, it's starting to wear on me. Plus, I started a new job last May that requires me to get up at 6 AM on Tuesday mornings. So, when MM starts at 9 PM my time, I usually only have time for one game before I need to go to bed. And of course, it's probably no secret that Skyrim and BF3 have been occupying a lot of my attention lately

I don't have the same version everyone plays but hopefully will get it at Christmas time. I've always been behind the curve on ArmA and MM! I want to play with the MM crowd bad though its been almost a year that I've been out of it.

It's mainly been because of a busier-than-normal school schedule for me. Hopefully, though, starting with tonight I should be able to put some more time into the game.

Thursday attendance has been tough as well -- last week we barely managed three at the start, despite having brand new missions available.
I will continue to crank out new missions and scripted weapons though. I think you can't really be bored with ArmA 2 multiplayer when every night brings new content. There are still missions on the server that have never been played!

Just asking. Would it be good to break off ArmA2 multiplay for 2-3 months to give everyone a break?

NOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the mo, people who want a break, just dont tend to show up. I dont really mind the smaller turnouts, sure 20+ can be great fun but you miss the closeness you get when theres just 8 of ya, or 3 doing a deathmatch in a10s

I have the next 2 weeks off and plan to camp on the server. Is there a classic Sharani Evo? In the new year I would love Euro Sundays to become popular.

I've barely played in the last 6 months....a combination of options on the poll, real life, too busy, kids etc and have been on BF3 recently whenever I get the chance. However, I do think a Sunday at a better time could involve both US and Euro players....even if it's only once a month it could be the trigger to get mondays back on track and stimulate the interest again.

Real life/work is getting in my way mostly. Also I've injured myself so I can't sit at my pc for more than an hour before my back starts hurting. Also Skyrim and BF3 have taken up some time; but it's still easy to set those aside for at least ONE night to play Arma hehe
I'm also kind of waiting for BIS release the 1.60 patch, so hopefully others are doing the same and it will pick back up

I got side tracked a little with BF3, but now that I can't play that I am trying to get back on MM.
Gonna try this coming MM, unless the wifey has me put up one of those darn Christmas green things with the shiney bulbs.

Thanks Magnum! Completely unexpected too, they told is 10 years ago that it was impossible. Guess I showed them, huh? So yeah, that's a 17 year difference between the first and second child.

Congratulations Wepps Will you look after it as if its one of your own? Ouch! Congrats Wepps. My reason,...we'll I don't think I've EVER shown up, so, anyway... Been thinking about ARMA2 again, what with all the sales and such. Might be tempted to jump in.... (I have Arma 2 but none of the add ons...waiting for the next big sale). Posting as well in a different thread about that.

For anyone who marked that they're bored or burnt out with ArmA, I'd be interested to hear if its any aspect of the game itself in particular, or simply the concept. And, of course, if you would prefer more missions of a certain type, that's interesting as well. Due to lower numbers we have been mostly doing special operations-type stuff lately. Difficult to create a larger battlescape experience without at least a human strength near, say, a Marine rifle squad. (1+4+4+4 = 13).

In my experience gameplay always slacks off here at the end of the year, and picks back up in January as people settle back into routines. You definitely make some great missions Tao, so its not the mission selection Completely agree on both points. Tao makes outstanding missions and yeah, the holidays are simply a busy time for family and shopping so the drop off in attendance near the end of the year is to be expected.

What time, what version, what requirements do you guys have? I'm a complete newb, have apparently no talent for this, very limited time to practise but man it seems a deep game. The one thing I do have is a couple of weeks off coming very very soon.

That 1.60 patch coming soon should help pick up customers too.
Huge amount of multiplayer / networking fixes.
I think BIS finally got the gist that the critics/fans were gonna poo-poo Arma3 if they did not fix the that.
