Ouch!

Congrats Wepps.

My reason,...we'll I don't think I've EVER shown up, so, anyway...

Been thinking about ARMA2 again, what with all the sales and such. Might be tempted to jump in....

(I have Arma 2 but none of the add ons...waiting for the next big sale). Posting as well in a different thread about that.

For anyone who marked that they're bored or burnt out with ArmA, I'd be interested to hear if its any aspect of the game itself in particular, or simply the concept. And, of course, if you would prefer more missions of a certain type, that's interesting as well. Due to lower numbers we have been mostly doing special operations-type stuff lately. Difficult to create a larger battlescape experience without at least a human strength near, say, a Marine rifle squad. (1+4+4+4 = 13).

In my experience gameplay always slacks off here at the end of the year, and picks back up in January as people settle back into routines. You definitely make some great missions Tao, so its not the mission selection soapbox

Completely agree on both points.

Tao makes outstanding missions and yeah, the holidays are simply a busy time for family and shopping so the drop off in attendance near the end of the year is to be expected.

What time, what version, what requirements do you guys have? I'm a complete newb, have apparently no talent for this, very limited time to practise but man it seems a deep game. The one thing I do have is a couple of weeks off coming very very soon.

That 1.60 patch coming soon should help pick up customers too.

Huge amount of multiplayer / networking fixes.

I think BIS finally got the gist that the critics/fans were gonna poo-poo Arma3 if they did not fix the that.
