Hey there,
I have a current Steam account with a couple of games on it that I have bought. I am visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Florida for a couple of days. He has a fantastic computer and I would like to run a couple of those games on it with the graphics maxed out to see what it would look like.

He also has a Steam account. Can I run the games from my Steam account on his computer ?? If so would I just type my user name and password into his Steam account ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks !

Tracy

Hi there Tracy, the short answer is yes you can.
Start the steam client, chances are it will log his profile automatically, just log out of his account and log into yours. It will ask you your password so make sure you know it before you try! Also these days you have Steam Guard as well, it'll send a code to your E-mail, just copy and paste and you're away to go. Remember you'll have to download the game you want to play as well. Hope you've got good broadband.
Good luck and post back if none of that makes sense. WinkNGrin

That's how it goes. I have games on my laptop and my netbook using my one account. As said, you need access to your registered email address. If you don't have that feature enabled on your account, you should.

Hi there,
Thanks for all the quick answers !
Unfortunately, we don't have the games available for download, so I think I'm out of luck.

Once you've logged on to your account you'll find them in your library ready to download.
