Well, I just may have backed into an XBox360 with the Kinect without even having to convince the wife to make the purchase. My wife wanted to buy my girls (5 and 8) a Wii for Christmas along with the latest Dance game. I was like sounds good and fun for the kids. Her friend just yesterday tells her it is better to go with the Xbox since it has the Kinect which you do not need any controllers for. Which sounded really good to my wife since she didnt want any controllers being slung around possibly breaking something. The whole time she is explaining this to me and I am sitting back with my jaw about to drop and smiling big time on the inside trying to keep my poker face and doing my best to not seem too interested.

Now I had no intentions of buying an XBox since I'm into PC gaming/sims. The whole Wii deal did cross my mind for the kids though. The only time I thought about puruchasing an XBox was a couple of years ago in order to play NCAA and Madden football games, but thought it would be a waste of money since that would be the only thing I would really be interested in for the XBox.

So now it is really looking like my girls will be getting the XBox with Kinect bundle and now I can get my football gaming fix! Crappola this came out of the blue and now the wife is frantically trying to finde the best deals around town on XBox bundles. I just going to sit low and wait to set this bad boy up on Christmas Eve.

We got the Kinect for the kids this year with Dance Central 2. The first rule is no cameras. I don't want to become a youtube video like above.

We were thinking about Disney Sing It or one of the dance titles, but yes I agree no cameras!

Excellent. I almost play only the sports games so look me up when you get it. I'd love to have another "old" married guy with kids to play (I get waxed all the time by kids online that clearly have more time than I do to play!).

I was thinking of buying one for my girls......

I'm currently playing FIFA 12 on PC which is giving me my gaming sports fix. This game is really addicting with the career mode and the Ultimate Team card collecting and putting your team together is a super cool feature. I can access the cards and setting up teams through the FIFA 12 website and not even have to be logged into the game which can be just as addicting trying to build your collection and team.

I'm looking to purchase Madden 12 after x-mas and will definitely look you up Airdrop as soon as possible!
