I see some intersting CVs in work but I thought Third Wire carrier ops are only available for WOV and YAP which do not work on Vista.Is that correct?

Not at all. Strike Fighters has native carrier ops in Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam, but any of the games can be easily adjusted to have naval aviation operations.

I don't know about Vista but WOV (original) works fine for me in Win7 64 bit.
